This exhibition reveals a rare cross-cultural artistic dialogue between American painter Jackson Pollock (1912–1956), American artist and patron of European and American postwar art Alfonso Ossorio (1916–1990), and French painter Jean Dubuffet (1901–1985). Approximately 53 paintings and works on paper from 1945 to 1958 highlight visual affinities and inspired friendships among the artists at pivotal moments in their careers.
