Angela Fox's darkly whimsical narrative drawings expose the underbelly of relationships. Her work explores the idea of reciprocity in relation to vulnerability, rejection and emotional availability. Her cartoon-like half women/half crocodile figures aggressively exude sexuality, while extinguishing the notions of vulnerability associated with nudity and sex. Armed with sharp teeth and dangerous stilettos, the figures wield power and shift roles of predators and victims.
