Andrew Strong of The Commitments - Lead singer and star of the movie! August 13, 2009

This Irish star was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1991. He struck fame when he starred as Deco Cuffe in the hit film The Commitments. Strong's powerful voice served him well in the film as the lead singer of the band. The Commitments album has sold over 15 million copies.

Since "The Commitments" he has recorded 4 more platinum-selling albums. A seasoned live performer, he has toured Europe with some of music's biggest superstars, such as The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Prince, and Lenny Kravitz.

Until now, Andrew has never done a full-fledged tour of the United States. His fans await his arrival on US soil to experience his riveting R&B and sweet soul music.
