To coincide with the publication of Andrew O’Hagan’s collected non-fiction, The Atlantic Ocean (Faber), the novelist and LRB contributing editor will be in conversation with Observer writer Gaby Wood. O’Hagan’s essays and reported pieces have examined the cultures of Britain and America since Thatcher and Reagan, from the Bulger trial to Hurricane Katrina, from celebrity memoirs to the war in Iraq. O’Hagan talks about his personal journeys into the special relationship and discusses the history of non-fiction style.
