The Wisconsin Union Directorate Distinguished Lecture Series presents author, poet and social commentator Andrei Codrescu as its first speaker. Codrescu's presentation, 'Swimming between Languages: Learning English by Osmosis & Other Adventures,' is cosponsored with CREECA (the UW Center for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia). Codrescu is a poet, novelist and essayist, whose commentary is heard regularly on NPR's 'All Things Considered.'
