Andre Smith: Concrete Realities January 6, 2010

This exhibition focuses on the cast and carved sculpture Andre Smith created during the later years of his long and versatile artistic career. Most of the works on display embrace the themes of ancient Mesoamerican art, with motifs drawn from the Mayan and Aztec cultures. Other examples are more related to Smith's experiments with Modernism.
