The Hilliard Ensemble, Tafelmusik Chamber Choir and chamber ensemble surround the audience in the poignant premiere of Brian Cherney’s An Unfinished Life, based on text by the remarkable Dutch author Etty Hillesum. Hillesum, whose wartime diaries have become a classic of 20th century spirituality, died at Auschwitz in 1943. The program will also include Jewish composers of the Renaissance performed by the world renowned Hilliard Ensemble.
