An Old Fashioned Christmas. The Reno Pops Orchestra presents its fourth annual holiday concert at the Rock Church in Sparks at 7:30 pm on Friday, December 4. Joel Munc, our guest conductor for this concert, will lead the orchestra in an assortment of favorite holiday music, including Polar Express, White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Carol of the Bells, Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring, LeRoy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, Bashana Haba’ah, and others. A vocal ensemble will sing Alfred Burt’s Christmas Carols, and the orchestra will play Corelli’s Christmas Concerto.

A tradition of this annual concert is to include the audience in a holiday sing-along with music familiar to young and old alike. Our vocalists will lead the audience in singing favorite carols with words projected on the screen, so no-one will be at a loss to join in.

Guests should arrive early to be assured of seating, as some of these holiday concerts have had capacity crowds.

Please join the Reno Pops Orchestra at The Rock Church, 4950 Vista Blvd. (one block north of Disc Dr.) in Sparks, NV, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4, for an uplifting holiday concert. Call 775-673-1234 or visit our website at www.renopops.org for more information.
