Tony Egan was born and raised in County Offaly, Ireland. Influenced by such legends as Christy Moore, Paul Brady, Van Morrison and Jimmy Crowley he adds contemporary arrangements to the lilting melodies which are the soul of Irish music.

Tony's repertoire is drawn mainly from the modern era of Irish folk music with the addition of some new self-penned songs. The stories are timeless; mixing tales of oppression and freedom, of war and peace, of victory and conquest with songs of love and debauchery, pain and pleasure. The combination of guitar and harmonica weaves a spell over the listeners as they are drawn into the stories so characteristic of Irish lyrics. Close your eyes and you could be in a pub in Ireland.
