An Evening with The Skeptical Environmentalist April 30, 2009

Since Earth Day takes place this month, Phoenix Objectivists will show a video presentation lecture titled: "An Evening with the Skeptical Environmentalist by Bjorn Lomborg (http://www.lomborg.com)".

Bjorn Lomborg is a scientist and author of the best-selling books "The Skeptical Environmentalist" and "Cool It".

He is an entertaining speaker who explains how he changed his mind about impending environmental doom.

A former university professor and Greenpeace member, who still sees himself on the Left side of the spectrum, Bjorn is not your typical skeptic on environmental issues.

When he stumbled across the writings of economist Julian Simon, Lomborg set out to debunk the debunker but, instead, he got debunked.

This entertaining lecture is Bjorn Lomborg at his best --- and he is excellent!

After the video is finished we will discuss it and the points Lomborg brings up.
