An evening with the Drybrook Choirs March 6, 2010

There is a treat in store for audiences at Lydbrook Church this month! Drybrook is home to two of the Forests top choirs, The Drybrook and District Male Voice Choir and Drybrook and District Ladies choir. Both choirs are joining forces for a wonderful evening of singing and entertainment to raise money for the church restoration funds.

The concert takes place at 7:30pm on Saturday 6th March at Lydbrook Church. The choirs enjoy a following of loyal fans and like to make an impression
wherever they perform. The programme will be varied including traditional pieces alongside show stoppers but no doubt will have something for everyone
and when they join together as a mixed choir for the final piece of the evening they will be 60 voices strong, definitely not to be missed!!

The Forest hosts a wonderful variety of entertainers and musicians and putting on the monthly concerts at Lydbrook Church has become a great way of supporting and showcasing this local talent and performers from further afield. Word is spreading fast of the quality of performances and the setting of the Church, not only are audiences growing but musicians and performers are beginning to seek out the church to hold their own concerts as well as being a part of the regular fundraising concert series.
