An Evening with Isaac Hayes June 17, 2005

Isaac Hayes will perform a free summer concert at 8 p.m., Friday, June 17, on the DMA?s Ross Avenue Plaza, as part of the Museum?s Late Night series and in celebration of the exhibition Gordon Parks, Half Past Autumn: Selections from the Collection of the Corcoran Gallery of Art, which opens Sunday, June 5, 2005.

An Evening with Isaac Hayes will include music from the 1971 motion picture Shaft, which was directed by Gordon Parks, as well as other music from his more than four-decade recording career, during a 90-minute performance. Hayes will be performing with his full band.
