The Austin Center for Photography's Icons of Photography No.3 lecture brings Elliott Erwitt to Austin. Elliott will be making a two night appearance in Austin at the Blanton Museum of Art Auditorium.

We are pleased to continue our lecture series with a very special presentation by a true icon of film making, commercial and fine art photography.

Elliott Erwitt has produced many films and television programs, and has actively worked for magazine, industrial, and advertising clients since beginning his career in 1949. He is perhaps better known for the many fine art photography books and exhibitions he has created for galleries and museums.

A member of Magnum Photos since 1953, his one man shows have appeared in the MOMA, Chicago Art Institute, the Smithsonian, and countless other museums and galleries aroound the world.

Erwitt's ability to capture irony and humor in his photographs, frequently of dogs, is legendary. ACP is deeply honored to bring him to Austin.
