Nationally known stand-up comedian, Rabbi Bob Alper, will be appearing at Congregation Beth David (19700 Prospect Road, Saratoga) on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 7:30pm. Known as “The world’s only practicing clergyman doing stand-up comedy . . . intentionally,” Bob Alper will share humorous memories of his rabbinic career as well as insights into interfaith communication. Tickets, which may be purchased online at www.beth-david.org/RSVP, are $36 in advance, $42 at the door, and $81 for patrons (which includes special seating and a signed memoir).
