Robert Wilson, a giant in the world of experimental theater, will discuss his artistic career in a free lecture/performance entitled “1. HAVE YOU BEEN HERE BEFORE 2. NO THIS IS THE FIRST TIME.”

A recipient of practically every prestigious award the arts community offers including: two Guggenheim Fellowship awards, the Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship award, a nomination for the Pulitzer Prize in Drama, election to the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and named as Commandeur des arts et des letters by the French Minister of Culture.

Wilson has worked with Giorgio Armani, David Bryne, Allen Gingsberg, Eugene Ionesco, Brad Pitt and Lou Reed. His drawings, furniture designs, and installations have been exhibited in the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, London's Clink Street Vaults, and the Guggenheim Museums in New York and Bilbao.
