An Evening of Space Ritual with Nik Turner March 10, 2013

Nik Turner (ex-Hawkwind) will be performing the music of Space Ritual on March 10 at The Echoplex in Silverlake CA. Fans of space, kraut, and psychedelic rock will enjoy a full night of special guests, including White Manna.

Nik Turner is a founding member of space rock pioneers Hawkwind. His freestyle jazz style and theatrical stage presence has made his live shows legendary. He’ll be performing the music of Space Ritual, which includes both Hawkwind and original material. This rare performance is just days before his first-ever appearance at SXSW in Austin on March 15.

White Manna is a Northern California-based space rock band that with the release last year of a self-titled EP, promised to take audiences to stellar depths. Powerful, trippy guitar jams make White Manna a great new torchbearer for the psych genre.
