The aloha spirit will fill the air when slack key legend, Dennis Kamakahi returns to Pt. Reyes, along with Stephen Inglis and Patrick Landeza. Join the Dance Palace for an evening of Hawaiian songs, hula and aloha as they perform songs from their new albums!

Dennis David Kahekilimamaoikalanikeha Kamakahi is a multiple Grammy winner, multiple Na Hoku Hanohano winner, a 2009 Inductee into the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame, recording artist, and a prolific music composer of the Hawaiian Music genre. He is an active member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild), ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers), MTNA (Music Teachers National Association), MENC (The National Association for Music Education).

Stephen Inglis is recognized as one of the most diverse artists in Hawaii today. Equally at home on the acoustic and electric guitar, the art of Ki Ho’alu (Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar) has been at the heart of his music in recent years. Stephen’s composition “Redwood Slack Key” was featured on the Grammy nominated and Na Hoku Hanohano award winning album, “Hawaiian Slack Key Kings Volume 2″ in 2009. Stephen’s music has been featured in Film and TV with Hawaii NBC affiliate KHON’S Hawaii’s Saint Damian: A journey of Sacrifice” among recent projects. His 2010 album Slackin’ on Dylan, won a Hawaii Music Award for Folk Album of the year.

Award-winning musician, composer, producer, Patrick Kahakauwila Kamaholelani Landeza is considered a leading exponent of the Hawaiian slack key style. A protégé of the Hawaiian slack-key masters, Landeza has dedicated his life to sharing this art form with the world. At 34, he was the youngest recipient of the prestigious Kapalakiko Aloha Spirit award for his work with slack key. Patrick received the 2010 Hawaii Music Award for his latest release “Ku`u Honua Mele” (My Music World) in the slack-key category.
