Strawberry Theatre Workshop presents Henrik Ibsen's fiery play, famously adapted for Americans by Arthur Miller. Directed by Greg Carter.

Featuring Amy Fleetwood as Dr. Stockman, with Jack Greenman, Timothy Hyland, Troy Fischnaller & Jeanette Maus

When the resident physician in a small Norwegian town discovers that the local springs are poisoned, she is shocked to find that instead of being thanked, she is looked upon as a dangerous enemy of society. As town officials and local media do their utmost to urge secrecy, the determined Doctor realizes that the honesty and idealism she has counted upon to make the truth prevail simply do not exist in the face of selfish "practical" interests.

"It flames out of a fiery spirit... Mr Miller's adaptation is compact, idiomatic, and eminently actable, and it also preserves Ibsen's moral point of view"
