The Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art and The Rose Project present an afternoon program of music and poetry. The event is FREE and pre-registration is recommended. There will be a musical performance by violinist Airi Yoshioka. Ms. Yoshioka has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Canada as a recitalist, soloist, and chamber musician. A native of Japan, Ms. Yoshioka came to the United States at the age of 12 and received her early training as a student of Honorary Distinction at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She holds a BA in English from Yale University, where she received the Barnford College Arts Award for outstanding contribution to the arts, and received her MM and DMA from the Juilliard School. Other recitations and ancient wisdom by poets Ross, Prodovikov, Keltner, Swaminanthan, Zaremka, and others, along with student award winners.
