Amy Lou's Blues kicks out an upbeat blues you can dance to, bringing back the rocking and rolling blues from days gone by with an eclectic mix of influences and a retro style that makes them unlike any other blues band around. The band has a lot of energy with a large repertoire that includes a cool mix of jump blues, old-school R&B, swing, gospel, 50's rock and roll, boogie-woogie, rockabilly, down-in-the-alley blues, and some funk to keep things twisting. Playing some standards, some little-known gems, and some original tunes, the grooves and beats are as diverse as Amy Lou's hat collection.
