Toronto-raised jazz vocalist Amy Cervini is a regular on the New York jazz circuit, praised for her ability to seamlessly meld musical styles. Her 2007 debut, Famous Blue, features songs from a wide array of pop, jazz, and contemporary composers. On August 6th, Cervini plays with her band Jazz Country, featuring covers from the jazz and country songbooks, including tunes from Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, and Carrie Underwood. On September 2nd, she plays with her quartet, which includes her brother and fellow Canadian Ernesto Cervini on drums. Look for her sophomore release this fall.
