The NME dubbed 'nu-gazers' (along with Engineers and Radio Dept.) have been forging the astral landscapes where their songs lie across the UK and Europe recalling the overdriven sound of early '90s Creation. At 16, Michael Feerick wrote and recorded the self-titled debut album from his bedroom in Nottingham, England. Now 19, he's pieced together a band from the city's burgeoning art-punk scene and has set forth to fire up his sonic wall of melody and noise to the US shores.
