Amrutha Mahotsava, Kannada film Industry celebrating 75 years of glorious cinema.

Its 75years completed since the existence of Kannada film Industry where it had a start with a movie Sati Sulochana,

So called first movie of the Sandalwood which was released in the year 1934.

Its been a quite long journey for Kannada film industry to complete 74 years successfully with lot of ups & downs and should be said that achievements are very huge & the industry has also witnessed its share of failures

To make this year a quite special, KFFC has decided to celebrate this occasion in a big way leaving this year to be remembered in the history of Kannada cinemas.

As per the KFCC the celebrations and Amrutha Mahotsava events will be held on March 1st, 2nd & 3rd at Bangalore palace ground.

On this occasion of Amrutha Mahotsava, KFCC is also publishing 75 books about history of 75years of Kannada film industry. With these celebrations KFCC to express the tributes to film personalities who contributed and have been contributing on screen & off screen to the gradual development of Kannada film industry for the past seven decades.
