Sri Mata Amritanandamayi, known as AMMA or Mother, is revered throughout the world as one of the most outstanding humanitarian and spiritual leaders of our time. Amma’s “darshan” is an embrace, an expression of compassion and empathy. Arrive by 5 pm for best seating. DEVI BHAVA begins with an Atma Puja (ceremony for peace), followed Darshan, a unique time with Amma in the tradition of the Divine Mother. Live music is played throughout the night. The program continues into the morning until everyone has been received. MORE INFO http://seattlesatsang.amma.org/2011_AmmaVisit.html

For Newcomers
Everyone, including infants, is given their Token on a first-come-first-served basis. Those wishing to go together for their hug must get tokens at the same time. Allow sufficient time, Token group numbers are determined by time of arrival. As darshan proceeds, continually-updated group numbers are posted in the hall. Assisted Darshan seating is available for those who are physically challenged. Enjoy the benefit of simply being in Amma's presence while watching her give darshan.
Enjoy hall activities—onsite meals, singing, talks, informational displays of Amma’s humanitarian projects, Amma Shop, massage, Vedic astrology, and volunteering for short shifts of "selfless service" that may interest you.
