Ami Verill has been performing since the age of eight. Classically trained in voice and piano, she veered from the narrow path on which she found herself, and began writing her own music at the age of thirteen. Throughout her schooling, music came to define her; all throughout high school she would practice, perform, teach, arrange and compose classical music during the day, performing her own music at night. Since 2002 Ami has been writing consistently, taking classes on the side, teaching creative writing and living the life that feeds her music. Or perhaps living the music that feeds her life.
