Americanum Centurum: A Choral Collection March 12, 2011

The Longmont Chorale presents it's Spring Concert March 12, Saturday, 7:30 p.m.

Niwot High School, 8989 Niwot Rd, Longmont

In recognition of outstanding American Choral Composers of the last 100 years, we have chosen works from the music of Charles Ives, Aaron Copland, Libby Larsen, Amy Beach, Eric Whitacre, Morton Laudridsen, Timothy Tharaldson, Leonard Bernstein, and Samuel Barber. We will perform selections from Randall Thompson’s Frostiana (Featuring Robert Frost’s poetry) as well as Te Deum, a recent composition by Mark Hayes.

Showcased this evening will be the middle and high school winners of our annual Youth Vocal Competition.
