American Music Club May 1, 2008

Formed in San Francisco back in 1982, the American Music Club features vocalist/guitarist Mark Eitzel and Vudi with new members Sean Hoffman and Steve Didelot. Although commonly lumped with other bands from the "slowcore" and "sadcore" movements, AMC is better known for mastering the disparate strands of American music into a wholly unique synthesis all their own. Now based in Los Angeles the band's new release is 'The Golden Age.' No River City plays Graham Parsons style music. Warm in the Wake is comprised of Christopher Rowell, James Taylor, Jr., Daniel Barker and Andy Barker.
