Dr. Kay McGowan will speak about her recent trip to represent American Indians at the United Nations. Dr. McGowan is an enrollef member of the Mississippi Choctaw nation, and works as a cultural anthropologist, author and university instructor. She serves as the staff anthropologist for the National Urban Indian Coalition and represents American Indians at the United Nations through the National Indian Youth Council and is a member of the National Indian Health Care Advisory Board. She is a wife and the mother of five children.

This event will take place in Room 334 from 6 - 7:30 PM with Q and A.
