American Idol Finalist Jason Castro to Headline Free Holiday Tree Lighting Event at The Domain November 20, 2009

WHAT:
Central Texas holiday shoppers and families are invited to get into the holiday spirit with a full day of festivities at The Domain, culminating with a free performance from Atlantic Recording Artist and American Idol finalist Jason Castro and holiday fireworks during The Domain Lighting of Macy’s Great Tree presented by Cadillac.

As part of The Domain’s full day of activities, shoppers will enjoy live music, children’s activities, special in-store events and more prior to the grand tree lighting spectacular event. In the evening, special guest performer Jason Castro will perform holiday songs along with selections from his hugely anticipated debut album.

Throughout the holiday season, The Domain will offer one-of-a-kind holiday events including special live music performances and holiday traditions for the entire family to enjoy:

o A 40-foot Christmas tree with more than 6,000 lights, 400 ornaments and a five-foot star topper
o Weekly firework displays
o Strolling carolers
o Holiday entertainment from the stage in the park
o Complimentary Horse-drawn carriage rides
