The American Humanist Association in bringing to town perhaps the most eclectic collection of people ever featured at a single San Diego event when it holds its 72nd annual conference May 30-June 2, 2013 at the Bahia Resort Hotel.

The variety of people attendees will get to see include Humanist of the Year and Savage Love columnist Dan Savage, a controversial LGBT advocate; priest-turned-atheist Teresa MacBain who now assists other non-believing priests in exiting their churches; world-renowned magician and skeptic Jamy Ian Swiss; YouTube dancing sensation Matt Harding; paleoanthropologist Richard Leakey; nationally known sex therapist and author Dr. Marty Klein; and Phil Zuckerman, author and founder of the Pitzer College secular studies program. The conference includes many other authors and pundits who will educate and entertain on a large range of topics, including education, history, science, politics, and more.
