American Dance Institute Hosts Angelina Ballerina Open House April 25, 2010

In honor of National Dance Week and Washington DC’s Dance is the Answer, American Dance Institute is hosting the Angelina Ballerina Open House on Sunday, April 25th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

During the free day of fun, kids ages two and older will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive Angelina Ballerina story dance with ADI instructors, and families can attend a short performance by ADI’s resident dance company, the ADI Chamber Ballet. Entertainment also includes arts and crafts, and a ballet “Petting Zoo” where children can touch and try on real ballet costumes, headpieces, props, and shoes. Children will also receive professional instruction from the Institute’s top instructors during the free workshops. At the end of the day, the young dancers can enter the chance to win a prize basket that includes the Angelina Ballerina storybook that was used throughout the day’s events.
