See three premieres created specifically for the concert hall. Alexei Ratmansky choreographs a new, intimate work inspired by the brilliant piano sonatas of the Italian composer Domenico Scarlatti, a contemporary of J.S. Bach and G.F. Handel. Benjamin Millepied creates a large ensemble piece, set to music from Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lang, and Canadian Aszure Barton choreographs a new ballet inspired by a Violin Sonata composed by Maurice Ravel. Additional works are 'Other Dances' and 'Some Assembly Required.'
