2013 is year of milestones for Hearts of Space (HOS): it marks the 40th anniversary of the program, 30th anniversary of national syndication, and passing the program 1,000 benchmark. In celebration we're hosting our first-ever live concert event and music conference, AMBIcon 2013, May 3-4-5, 2013, in San Rafael, CA at the Embassy Suites Hotel Conference Center, 13 miles north of San Francisco in beautiful Marin County.

AMBICON 2013 is a weekend conference hosted by HOS producer Stephen Hill, organized around 4 live 5.1 surround-sound concerts featuring 2 core HOS artists in each, for a total of 8 individual performances by Hans Christian, Jeff Pearce, Stephan Micus, Robert Rich, Steve Roach, Michael Stearns, Tim Story, and Stellamara, plus a special presentation by Mark Prendergast, author, The Ambient Century.

Join us to celebrate 40 years of sublime ambient music. Meet the artists, fellow listeners, other ambient musicians, and the HOS staff: Stephen Hill, Leyla Hill, Joseph Jacobs, Steve Davis and Sheila Gerzoff.
