"Soprano Amanda Pabyan... tore into the Queen of the Night's arias with whistling high notes, precision and surprising heat; the audience cheered her." — Opera News

Amanda Pabyan is quickly taking her place as one of America's most distinguished lyric-coloratura sopranos. Described by The New York Times as "a brilliant coloratura" and "technically agile, clarion toned, and incisive," Pabyan has performed as the Queen of the Night in the Metropolitan Opera's production of Die Zauberflöte, as Donna Ann in the New York City Opera's Don Giovanni, and the title role in the Glimmerglass Opera's Orphée et Eurydice, among many others. She is in demand as a soloist and chamber singer, appearing with the Seattle Symphony, Boston Baroque, and American Symphony Orchestra at Lincoln Center.

Presented in partnership with the Department of Music and the Cultural Affairs Committee
