Originally from the great state of Indiana, Amanda started performing at a very young age. Her earliest years on or around the stage (from 4 to 7) were spent in Paris being in recording sessions, cabaret and travelling shows where she led the Children's Chorus in the Houston Opera's acclaimed European tour of Porgy and Bess. Living and studying in Indianapolis, New York and Los Angeles as well as Paris, she was featured in scores of dramatic and musical theatre productions. She holds the honor of being one of the youngest actors to be accepted as an Apprentice at the Actors Theatre of Louisville.

She has always had a close connection with music, coming from a long historied and talented family, but it wasn't until the 2003 Bay Area Cabaret Competition, that Amanda took her love of singing the swingin' tunes of yesteryear from the shower to the public. It was on a lark that she entered the competition where she made it to the finals losing only by two votes! Encouraged by this good start, she began singing in various showcases throughout San Francisco much to the delight of the audiences there. She began to develop a following which has quickly grown with her acclaimed one-woman show "It's About Damn Time!" which ran in the fall of 2007 at the New Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.
