Banner Alzheimer’s Institute is offering a free lecture on Friday, April 12. The lecture will focus on important discussions and decisions faced during dementia. Attendees can join a dementia specialist from Banner Alzheimer’s Institute at the upcoming GPS lecture and discover the latest on current clinical treatment, care and research, and learn more about prevention research and lifestyle factors that may reduce the risk of getting AD.

For those living with or caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease (AD), effective treatment cannot be found soon enough. Demand for information that may prevent this dreaded disease is high as millions of Americans will develop AD in the future. As the disease progresses, caregivers and family members look for answers to find the key to navigating the disease with hope and dignity.

GPS is a free lecture series offered monthly that explores various aspects of Alzheimer's disease/dementia, caregiving and brain health. The lectures are held on the second Friday of each month at different locations. For a complete schedule and more information, visit www.banneralz.org. To register for these free classes call 602-230-CARE.
