Upper Froyle
Alton, England GU34 4JX

The Alton & North East Hampshire Show takes place annually in early July at Upper Froyle, just off the A31 mid way between Alton and Farnham and is easily accessible to the towns and villages of North East Hants, South West Surrey and West Sussex.

Competition in cattle, sheep and horse classes gives the rural community the opportunity to showcase the exceptional quality of farm and food production in Hampshire and neighbouring counties. Equestrian events now take place in six rings.

Exhibitions of local crafts and rural pursuits give children in particular an insight into life in the countryside.

The show relies on the support of sponsors, members, trade stand exhibitors and over 90 volunteers from the local farming and town communities who do everything from the layout of the site to manning the marquees and car parks.

NEHAA is embarking in 2009 on a new educational project offering children at schools in the area an opportunity to be linked to a farm with the aim of showing the children how our food is produced and encouraging an awareness of the wonders of the countryside.

NEHAA is a registered charity (No.1003109) offering those with an appreciation of the countryside and agriculture an opportunity to support the charitable aims of the Association in promoting agriculture and rural crafts and in educating the public in these areas.

The Alton & North East Hampshire Show and the other activities of NEHAA can only take place with funding from sponsors. Sponsorship at the Show, or of one of the other activities of the Association is a means by which organisations can promote themselves cost effectively to a cross section of rural and urban dwellers while supporting an Association dedicated to upholding the best traditions of farming and the countryside.

There are opportunities to sponsor events whatever your budget. We can tailor packages to meet individual sponsor's wishes. Sponsors can choose items ranging from the main arena to cattle, sheep and horse classes to marquees and car parking. There are also opportunities to sponsor our educational activities and the Ploughing Match.
