Alpacas of Minnesota Farm Tour (state wide) October 6, 2007

Minnesota alpaca breeders are opening their doors to the public. Many farms will have children's activities; fiber related demos, yarns, hand spun or machine spun, fly tying fibers for the fishing enthusiast, raw fibers, roving, specialty garments, the renowned alpaca teddy bear and much more. Minnesota's own alpaca fiber processing mill will be open during the tour. There are too many events fun and educational at each individual farm to list. Alpacas produce wonderful fleece that is much warmer than wool and has a cashmere like feel. Great for our Minnesota winters. This is the opportunity to experience alpacas in all there grandeur.
