ALLISON CIPRIS BAND RELEASES DEBUT CD, ?NOT LIKE YOU?

Debut CD release to be celebrated on March 26th at NYC's hippest new music venue, Crash Mansion. Special guests, open bar and free copies of the new CD to everyone in attendance!

NYC based rock foursome, the Allison Cipris Band will celebrate the release of their full-length debut CD ?Not Like You? with a CD Release event at Crash Mansion (199 Bowery @ Spring St.;
(www.crashmansion.com) on Saturday, March 26, 2005. The festivities begin at 9:30 p.m. with performances by Preston Clarke (www.prestonclarke.net) and Dacks (www.dacksmusic.com). The Allison Cipris Band will take the stage at 11:00 p.m. and play for over an hour. A copy of ?Not Like You? is included with the $10 price of admission. There will also be giveaways throughout the night of ACB merchandise, and an open vodka bar from 10:30-11:30 p.m.

Fueled by singer/songwriter Allison Cipris' powerful vocals and sexy charisma, the Allison Cipris Band suggests what a cross between Pat Benatar and Sheryl Crow might sound like sharing the stage with a lead guitarist (Seth Skolnick) equal parts '80s shred and Claptonesque soul and a rhythm section (Tony Gregory, bass / Doug Clark, drums) equal parts funk and balls. Appearances by the Allison Cipris Band have included a set at the 50th Songwriters Hall of Fame New Writers Showcase, sponsored by Billboard Magazine; the New York International Auto Show (Camp Jeep pavilion-opening for Maverick Records' Ben Jelen, and hosted by Sirius Satellite Radio; the benefit concert for the Rock n' Roll Camp for Girls, sponsored by Women Who Rock magazine; the GoGirls Rock NYC Showcase; the Indiegrrl-palooza Northeast summer tour; and M.E.A.N.Y. (Musicians and Emerging Artists New York) Fest, sponsored by Guitar World Magazine.

The band will perform the album in its entirety at the release party and will debut some new songs as well. Cipris affirms, ?As we continue to grow and evolve as a band, our sound has also been evolving, and writing together has become that much easier.?
