Influencing without authority is an essential leadership skill - whether you are dealing with peers, superiors, subordinates or external constituents, you need to get things done through others. This three session interactive workshop is ideal for managers, directors, and entrepreneurs desiring to enhance their leadership and influencing skills both inside and outside of work. Sponsored by the Alliance of Technology and Women (ATW) Silicon Valley Chapter and the Institute for Women's Leadership (IWL), this workshop is designed to help attendees learn necessary skills to get to the next level in their careers. Through a series of discussions, "hands on" practice sessions, and extracurricular practice assignments Attendees will learn to master the art of persuasion and influencing others and new ways to think and communicate for greater impact.
Presenters are Rayona Sharpnack, founder of the Institute for Women's Leadership and inspirational coach and mentor and Helen Waters, president of the Institute for Women's Leadership.
