Allergenic Plants in the Pennsylvania Woodlands September 20, 2009

Do you wonder what makes your allergies so bad on sunny Pennsylvania days? Join us for a walk in the woods, where we will identify some of the local trees, grasses and weeds that produce the identify some of the local trees, grasses and weeds that produce the pesky pollens that [make some people so miserable. Along the way, we will discuss the methods plants use to get pollen from one plant to another, and what happens when people get in the way. The program will be led by Dr. Bryan Martin, who is currently a Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics, director of the Allergy Immunology Fellowship Program, and Chief of the Allergy Immunology Section at The Ohio State University.
