Aliases are headlining an ambitious all-day gig to raise money for local projects and entertain at the same time.

Organised to take place at The Lounge Bar in Alton on Saturday 20 Nov, based at the Community Centre, there are 19 bands all donating their time to raise funds for needy projects.

The band are gaining a strong national following, and Alton, which is increasingly becoming a hub for all things metal, punk and rock will be the scene of their first UK headline show.
Money raised will go directly to the Community Centre and be earmarked in particular for continuing the important work with the youth projects and giving the local youngsters somewhere safe to go and enjoy themselves which we are very passionate about.

The event is being organized by a collective of local band members who play regularly at the bar and want to put something back, headed by Jim Hall of local metal group Sinuism.

There are two stages in the venue, alternating to give a complete day of music to the crowd without any stop-gaps The main headliners on the second stage are the hugely popular “Heights” who are a now familiar sight at the bar and incredibly popular locally with their combination of classical music with a rock slant.

The full line-up of bands is as follows:
ALIASES, HEIGHTS, ALTERNATIVE CARPARK, SINUISM, MASK OF JUDAS, PURESIST, ALZIR, TERAKAI, SONS OF MERRICK, ENTRO-P, SCRAPE, IKARI, SORCERER’S SPELL, BELLIGERENCE, CASTODIUM, PARALLEL GROUND, HURTCORE, NERVOUS ENDINGS, BLOODWORKS.

The day starts at 12.45pm with tickets available on the door or in advance on http://www.seetickets.com, www.wegottickets.co.uk and www.ticketweb.co.uk.
