All-American Song Showcase August 12, 2009

The program features artists from Ravinia's Steans Institute. Soprano Michelle Areyzaga and pianist Welz Kauffman will perform Lita Grier's 'Anne Rutledge,' the newest in the Ravinia-commissioned "Spoon River" song cycle; this one celebrating the woman considered the true love of Abraham Lincoln's life.
