Grab some popcorn and join Friends of the High Line for the All Aboard! Trains on Film Series celebrating the role trains have played in cinematic history and the early days of the High Line on Friday, September 16 at 7:30 PM, Friday, September 23 at 7:00 PM and Friday, September 30 at 7:00 PM at the 14th Street Passage.

All Aboard! a 28-minute short, will debut on Friday, September 16 at 7:30 PM, with four more screenings following throughout that evening. The short film will also be shown following screenings of Some Like It Hot on Friday, September 23 at 7:00 PM and Strangers on a Train on Friday, September 30 at 7:00 PM.

All Aboard! (2011) is a new 28-minute short paying homage to the role of trains in the history of cinema, featuring iconic scenes from more than 100 films, ranging from cinematic classics to modern favorites. The film is glamorously inspired by the history of the High Line, which once carried freight trains delivering dairy, meat, produce, and other goods from Upstate New York into the warehouses and factories on Manhattan’s West Side. All Aboard! was produced by Wendy Keys, Directed by Tony Impavido, and edited by Brian Angelotti.

All screenings take place in the 14th Street Passage, on the High Line at West 14th Street.

Screenings are free. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
