Managing Across LevelsGiven government's traditional hierarchy, it is often challenging for rising leaders to effectively persuade their senior leaders and influence key decisions.
This seminar will help particpants:

Develop their management styles through a self-assessment;
Learn how to expand their role in their organizations;
Learn effective influence tactics; and
Get results, regardless of level.

This seminar is most applicable to GS-9 to GS-12s. The seminars begin
at 8:30, with a complimentary breakfast at 8:00, and end at 4:00 daily.

OUR APPROACHLeaders learn best by doing. We invite participants to bring challenges they are currently facing on the job to the classroom. We then help each participant create an action plan to improve their job performance and follow-up with participants after the class to ensure learning implementation.
Seminar participants will:

Learn best practices from the public and private sectors to apply to their jobs;
Participate in interactive class discussions and exercises built on best practice research
Reinforce class lessons through real-time problem-solving and action-planning;
Gain exposure to premier leaders from government and the private sector; and
Receive after-class support from Partnership consultants to ensure implementation of class lessons.
