Trinity Church (Broadway at Wall Street)

Alhambra is an ensemble that performs Judeo-Spanish (Sephardic) and Arabic vocal and instrumental music, using exotic instruments such as the oud, nay, kanun, shawm, dumbek and bendir. Improvisations in Middle-Eastern style (taksims) are a major element of the group's performances. For their performance at Trinity, the group will be playing music for Amor and Weddings in the Judeo-Spanish world. This theme is especially appropriate within the walls of the Church.
