Alexander Robotnik ? Hot Banana, Italy

(Chicago Debut!)

Legend has it that Maurizio Dami, better known as Alexander Robotnik, is able to manipulate the synthesizers in a deeply futuristic manner to travel through time, years ahead of any other electronic music composer of his time. He has not only defined the blueprint of dance music, through Italo-Disco, but well surpassed its limitless boundaries. His influence has stretched far and deep through time, emerging from the depths of Kraftwerk's Electro, the New Romantic and Synth Pop movements. His classic tunes, such as 'Probl?mes D' Amour' and 'Dance, Boy, Dance' are still considered the soundtrack of the Electro & Synth-Pop generation.
