Courtney's first solo was when she was 2 years old. She sang the song "Im a lonely little petunia in an onion patch, and all I do is cry all day!" She has been in several bands and has accompanied other musicians with her voice. Courtney studied classical opera from the 6th grade through college. She also studied world vocal music styles such as Hindustani style of Indian Classical music and southern African folk singing. Her most recent formed groups are KaiserCartel, a New York based eclectic duo and Patina, a pschedelic-emotionally charged rock band.
