It's a few short weeks before Jorge's young son Natan goes off to live with his mother in Rome. Taking advantage of the time they have left together, Jorge decides to teach Natan about his Mayan heritage by taking him on a fishing trip by a beautiful reef. The two bond as they adjust to life on the ocean.
