AKAnomic Keys to Success-Financial Symposium March 21, 2009

One of the words being tossed around with increasing frequency is recession. The very idea raises questions like; How will a recession affect me? and What can I do to ensure my financial stability?. As a result of these and other concerns within our community, we, the members of the Iota Alpha Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. have partnered with other community organizations and corporations to deliver the AKAnomic Keys to Success, a financial symposium designed to offer strategies and information to assist participants in increasing, their income, (Earn it), stabilizing their financial lives, (Sustain it), and acquiring assets and building wealth, (Pursue it). This event is sponsored by the Marist College Office of Graduate & Adult Enrollment and will feature Keryl Pesce of IWantMoreFreedom.com, and Sheila Roldan, Regional Manager, of Primerica Financial Services.

The AKAnomic Keys to Success financial symposium will be held Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 10:00am to 12:30pm on the Marist College main campus located at 3399 North Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY in the Fontaine Building, Rm 301. The symposium is free and open to the public.
